The fourth season of FX's hit anthology series American Horror Story is now set!
As the third season of American Horror Story ended with a blast, we now (again) have to bite our nails until the premiere of the fourth season.
Not long ago, Ryan Murphy - the producer of the show - announced the title of the fourth season as Freak Show.
The show will be set in 1950s Jupiter, Florida (although the show will still be filmed in New Orleans), circulating one of the last freak shows in the US, hosted by Jessica Lange whom will play as a German ex-pat. According to the hint given by Murphy, Lange and her freaks would do anything to keep their business alive in the falling age of freak shows businesses.
Till now, the cast has been confirmed. Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Jamie Brewer, Gabourey Sidibe, Denis O'Hare will all return. In addition to the cast, there is Micheal Chikilis.
Personally, i really looking forward to the return of Zachary Quinto, Lily Rabe and Taissa Farmiga. Connie Britton would be perfect, also. Too bad there's nothing related to them until now.
But like a shooting star, Lea Michele, the Glee superstar, is landing on Freak Show.
Lea Michele said she is interested in the show and "maybe Ryan can let me in for an episode". Well, i think she could make it if she doesn't act like a diva and start working on the dark looks. Freak Show should be a frightening rollercoaster ride to the carnival, not some high school musical drama. So it's best if Lea just show up as a supporting actress, that's if she can't get out of the diva shell. Otherwise i would love to see her in the show often.
Recently, Denis O'Hare told Vulture that his character would be a freak collector. And by the looks of it, Denis is going to be Lange's rival.
" We (Lange and O'Hare) have lots of scenes together, but we'll be battling" - Denis said.
Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett were expected to play a lead role.
So that's that for the Freak Show's cast information, are you excited???
